Behavioural Therapy (BT) (ABA)

Student Counseling (CBT and DBT)

Our student counseling services incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). CBT helps students identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviours, fostering improved emotional regulation and problem-solving skills. DBT focuses on teaching mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Through these counseling methods, we support students in developing healthy coping strategies, enhancing their emotional well-being and resilience.

Applied Behaviour Analysis Therapy (ABA)

Applied Behaviour Analysis is a scientifically validated approach to understanding and changing behaviour. Our ABA program is designed to support students with behavioural challenges and developmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). By using principles of reinforcement, our trained therapists help students develop essential skills, reduce problematic behaviour and increase positive social interactions. The individualized ABA therapy plans are tailored to each student’s unique needs, ensuring they receive the support necessary to thrive both academically and socially. Our therapy team is supported by a Board Analyst from a third party organization who ensures cohesive programming, age appropriate goals and helps support families as they navigate the funding model.
