Educational Philosophy

Established in 1988, Junior Academy has built a community around the families whose children attend our school. This community spirit is vital to ensuring all students feel they can achieve academic success.

Junior Academy has intentionally remained a small school. Our community environment ensures that every teacher knows each child and each child know every teacher. An inclusive atmosphere creates a sense of belonging that streams through our hallways nurturing faculty, teachers, and students alike. As a result, Junior Academy excels at building the required self esteem and confidence in all of their students.

Junior Academy’s teaching philosophy primarily focuses on individuals. Your child’s learning style is understood, learnt & embraced and brought into the curriculum. With this knowledge and understanding teachers inspire their students to reach their greatest potential.

Our teachers work together to ensure that all children – from gifted students to average learners, to those needing more support are taught in ways that enable them to succeed. This flexibility in determining what works best for each student is admired and appreciated by our parents and students alike.
